U.S. provides 14 Chinese companies, to financial blacklist about Xinjiang

The Biden administration on Friday included 14 Chinese businesses and other entities to its financial blacklist more than alleged human legal rights abuses and superior-tech surveillance in Xinjiang.

The Commerce Section explained the firms experienced been “implicated in human legal rights violations and abuses in the implementation of China’s marketing campaign of repression, mass detention, and significant technology surveillance in opposition to Uyghurs, Kazakhs, and other customers of Muslim minority teams in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Location.”

Beijing denies the alleged abuses.
