Ed Anderson, Main Details Officer and Info Engineering Office Director, to Depart IMF

Washington, DC – Mr. Ed Anderson, Main Info Officer (CIO) and Info Engineering Division Director (ITD) at the Global Financial Fund (IMF), has notified Handling Director Kristalina Georgieva of his intention to leave the IMF for personal good reasons, upon expiration of his expression appointment on June 10.

Throughout Mr. Anderson’s tenure, ITD worked hand in hand with other departments at the IMF to provide on the five IT transformation programs—CDMAP,1HR, iData, the Built-in Digital Workplace, and a new Document Administration process. He also played a vital role in addressing data safety issues and protecting the Fund against cyber threats.

To aid these endeavours, Mr. Anderson produced a new running design to ensure that ITD’s work and skills are absolutely aligned with the Fund’s altering strategic priorities. He spearheaded the Fund’s sourcing method and created an exterior companion ecosystem to aid the modernization and data stability agenda. He also established the Electronic Advisory Unit, a crew of ITD FinTech, MemberTech, Cyber Stability and Blockchain gurus who help the missions and TA of other Fund Departments.
