
Kaiser Permanente names chief details technology officer
Diane Comer was selected as chief details technological innovation officer of Oakland, Calif.-based Kaiser Permanente.
Ms. Comer has served as interim CIO since June 2020. She also beforehand led Kaiser Permanente’s Wellbeing System IT firm.
“Kaiser Permanente continues to reimagine approaches to expertly, innovatively and conveniently provide treatment for our customers, and executing so all through this time demands that we work with unprecedented agility and pace while always prioritizing equity, good quality and affordability,” Kaiser Permanente chair and CEO Greg Adams claimed in a information release. “As we development on this journey, I am happy that Diane’s progressive wondering, deep know-how and personal expertise of Kaiser Permanente will drive our know-how leadership.”
Ms. Comer joined Kaiser Permanente in 2007, after serving in positions at Fireman’s Fund Insurance plan Co., which include chief technological innovation officer.
She retains a bachelor’s degree in management from Golden Gate University in San Francisco.
